Scientific miracles of the Qur’an (with examples)

The Qur’an contains many scientific facts that were discovered by scientists many centuries later. These are called the scientific miracles of the Qur’an. Some important examples are:

1. Embryo Development in the Womb
   In Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:12–14), the Qur’an clearly describes the stages of a baby growing in the mother’s womb. Modern science has confirmed that the process happens in steps, just like the Qur’an mentioned 1400 years ago.

2. Mountains as Pegs
   In Surah An-Naba (78:6-7), the Qur’an says that mountains are like pegs. Today, geologists say that mountains have deep roots and help balance the Earth, which is similar to what the Qur’an describes.

3. Barrier Between Salt and Fresh Water
   In Surah Ar-Rahman (55:19–20) and Surah Al-Furqan (25:53), Allah tells us that there is a barrier between salt water and fresh water, and they do not mix completely. Oceanographers have confirmed this through scientific research.
